Your doll will just love this fun little dress!
When we began sketching this design we knew we
wanted it to have a ruffly skirt. However, we wanted something different from the average tiered skirt. After thinking about the idea for a while, we finally came up with the perfect sketch.
As we shopped for fabric, we knew this dress had to have polka dots. After looking at various cotton prints, we came across a lovely green cotton with tiny doll sized polka dots. For the lining we chose a lightweight 
cotton batiste which does the job beautifully.
Next, we began sewing. We princ
ess seamed the bodice for a great fit, and gave it sweet puffy sleeves.
after the lining and zipper were in, it was time for the ruffles. We machine hemmed them to give them the proper volume and attached them to the skirt. We just love the finished dress!
