A Junior Bride’s Maid’s Dress

When we were asked to create a Japanese inspired bride’s maid’s dress, we have to say we were intrigued. It was such a unique idea and we were excited to work on it. Our customer sent us a lovely vintage silk crepe that was actually a scrap from a kimono. A beautiful floral in teal, cream, and purple.

Lauren also  found a wonderful matching teal crepe for the contrasting fabric.

Our design features a crossover sleeveless bodice, a petal skirt, a wide belt, and an underskirt. The bodice also features three tucks around the neckline.

It was a great project, and we really enjoyed working on it!
