1850’s Afternoon Dress

Here we have a lovely gown for paying or receiving calls. We worked from a mid 1800’s design and came up with this pink silk confection! The bodice features white cotton shirring and a green velvet belt which accents the pointed waistline. Shirring and cotton lace trim the sleeves, and more delicate cotton lace trims the v-neckline. The skirt is gathered and worn over hoops. Please note: this gown is not for sale. If you are interested in something similar request a custom item. Thank you for coming by today, and enjoy the pictures!
